What to do? What to do?
Gosh all mighty. Turkey season starts Friday. There is supposed to be a warm up the rest of the week with a nice warm weekend forecast for Gulf Shores. Arrrgh. I hate decisions like this.
:runFish. Just fish.

Fishing is year'round... No contest, Turkey Lurkey must die :guns:
Ragnar Benson:
Never, under any circumstances, ever become a refugee.
Die if you must, but die on your home turf with your face to the wind, not in some stinking hellhole 2,000 kilometers away, among people you neither know nor care about.

Re: What to do? What to do?
Worst and best time of year for me, fishing is year round but the best fishing will be mid march till end of may then it gets hot. But on the other hand love to turkey hunt. I usually fish the weekends i have to work and hunt when i dont.

But I could do that too.....

I suppose I'll have to go tomorrow afternoon and see if I can roost one hard by where I've been scouting and planning to hunt. If not, I'll come fishing.Fish. Just fish.

Well, seeing as I'm just above the FL line in East L.A., I'd guess these thunder chickens here are probably on a similar schedule. I'll see tomorrow afternoon.Fish. Just fish.

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for an abundant fishery and a magnificent pier, from which to access that fishery. I'm thankful for the morning view of the sunrise and what a spectacular view it is...
Happy Thanksgiving!
