We will get ours Tuesday Jan 21st
Predictions range from 2" to 4"
Sorry about that. I hate the stuff myself,
Weather channel app for Gulf Shores says 3-5” today. I’ve seen a dusting at Gulf Shores once in the 80’s I think. And in the early 70’s when I was a kid a remember a couple of inches out at Tillman’s Corner where we lived. But 3-5 at GS is crazy!
None here in ETn and I am ok with that, we been near 10 several times recently and they say single digits tonight , I am retired now but got a son thats a lineman and a grandson in linrman school that has to deal with the weather now, I put my time in over the years doing construction and heat and air work. Prayers sent for everyone yhat has to deal with it
I'm in Foley and it's been snowing for about an hour now. I never thought I'd see the day! But there it is! And they say it's going to snow all afternoon, so I'm guessing an accumulation of a couple or three inches, maybe? I took a pic of my truck just now.

I’m about a half mile from Fairhope pier- there’s already snowball fights going on!!
Thanks for that report, 007! I just looked out the window again and now there's a couple of inches on the lawn. So I might need to revise my amateur forecast. Stay safe out there!
Y'all check out the snow on the beach! It's snowing like crazy!

Thanks Bruddah I’ve got the whole group here Most snow since 73 and 77 It’s gotta be 3 + inches here already! Check out the cams y’all ! I hope Milton gets some good pics🤙
Yeah, it has to be something like that here in Foley now, as well. We have blanket coverage and it's going to get bad tonight when the roads freeze over! I'm in for the duration, so I can't show anything but my neighborhood. I'm hoping for schooled-up whiting in the surf once things clear up. I don't have any experience at all with how fishing is affected by what I consider to be ultra-cold conditions about to visit us. (14 degrees?) Yikes!

In the freeze of 85 I worked the mulletsickles in the lagoon ! This should get the water temp down where it should be for sure!
Dude we’re over a half a foot in Fairhope! Reports of dummies sliding downhill in Lake Forest and Montrose!😂 Sent some footage to WKRG Check out Fairhope cattle dog!🤣
My footage went National news!! CBS🤙🤙🤙
A friend of mine in Foley called to say that he measured eight inches of snow just now! I know this: I'm not going out to find out either how much it snowed or how cold it is! As for people who don't know to respect "Mother Nature", there's going to be a busy ER tonight, all along the Gulf Coast!
We are at 7.5 in Fairhope I’m going to take a final measurement when it stops Yeah it’s at the beginning of the 5 30 cbs News It’s on the wkrg website Georgy the cattledog🤙
Finally stopped! We’re right at 9 inches!! Thanks to Pat and Susan for the historical🤙Imagine having a 95 and 70 year old Panama City and Mobile native at your disposal!
That was quite a storm.
Yes, by far eclipsing the snows of '73 and '77.
Check out this visible satellite picture this morning ...
And it isn't going away quickly as the high temp today is only near freezing.
