Yikes,,what we been doing noodle fishing,,no idea

Was in the piggly wiggly in goodwater al sunday fore labor day buying a lil porkroast and some st Louis cut ribs to smoke that day. had made a note to look at their catfish prices,,JEEZ,2 lil 1.25 # skint whole fish almost $5,,3.99 a lb.coosa river catfish,,looked like blues to me fo sure,,,,,What we been catching the last 2 months on noodles,,,usually 15 to 25 in an hour,till they quit biting,,and bigger fish,,averaging 2.5 to 3 #,,,,,filleting an average day the gut bucket has weighted 25 to 30 #,,much appreciated by the buzzards and house kittys,,,,So doing this for fun and friends and family entertainment has been a lot bigger plus than I had imagined!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Loving the boat,,almost paid for,,,lets get the crappie spider rigs ready and the heavy king mitchells for stripe jigging this fall and winter on martin lake!!!http://www.gulfshorespierfishing.com...tid=4195&stc=1http://www.gulfshorespierfishing.com...tid=4196&stc=1

Man, I used to love striper fishing on Martin, especially on Stink Creek at night until they closed off Dean Road. Those were some good days.

Used to do pretty good jug fishing up above the RR trestle, too.

Going to start fishing Tuscaloosa this fall and hope it's as good.
