I had one take up residence in my old charcoal smoker a few years ago andfound him quite by accident. Not what you expect to find right next to your house. Relocated him a few hundred yards through the woods and across a creek. A week later he was back and had brought his girlfriend with him. This time he and his gal pal rode 40 miles to work with me and were released unharmed.

his name is Garret the Garter Snake, but we just call him Gary. He has been living around the house for a couple of years now. Along with a couple of Grey Rat Snakes.
