Deleting Posts?
Is there a way that I can delete a post that I started? There's been a couple times where I created one and then thought better of it later...Thanks

Agreed mucho. Had it on the old board but lost it on the changeover. I asked that question early on but never got an answer. :-/
Screw it. Let's ride.

When we upgraded we lost that capability for members.
Just click edit and rewrite the post or change the post to read "Please Delete!"
Admins are only ones who can delete posts and threads.

We didnt lose the ability, I simply took the ability away . You can delete posts (I think), but not threads. This was mainly due to us getting accused of deleting threads we didnt agree with, when it was actually the poster that deleted the thread.

Yea. You big meanie. So there!
I may be wrong but I don't think we can delete posts either. I don't know if I ever deleted a thread, but there are definitely posts I've had 2nd thoughts about. If there is a delete button, I can't find it. Have to resort to editing and deleting text (replacing with 10 characters??) which removes the message but still uses up space -if that matters.....Screw it. Let's ride.

That's essentially what I had to resort to as well dive. That being said, I see Bubba's point about members accusing admins about deleting posts they didn't agree with and that being an issue. Think you guys are doing a good job as admins.
Yeah, and just like that the telemetry from the site went down (at 1:06 this morning). They should get it working again Monday. Generally speaking, king mackerel are about our most sensitive fish...
