15 days and 48 quarts

If you guys can keep the storms away, I'll be down that way in 15 days. Haven't been there in two years (youngest born last year) and haven't been on the pier since 2009 -actually first and only time-(my last several trips I've fished from the surf and jetty). With family obligations, I've decided to spend mornings on the pier and spend the rest of the time with family.

Got a 48 quart cooler than smells of plastic. I'm hoping to spend several mornings filling it. Probably spend most of my time in the shallows for whiting an pompano, around the piers for mangroves and sheepshead, and of course trying to bring in some Spanish.

Will visit the octi, but probably just watch. Acrobatic line jumping may be a bit beyond my skill.

I won't be wearing a name tag, so look for someone who looks like a confused bass fisherman. That'll probably be me.

!5 days may just land you in a very good time frame. Just pray for the water to cool just a tiny bit more to get our flat friends moving.

Yeah, I was looking forward to the bow season opener this weekend, but then the temperature just went back up to 90. Hopefully the fish like the warm temperature more than the deer.

Bring you a couple Bubble Rigs. Bet you can find some good Spanish action in early mornings. Easy to throw even in a crowd and good search tactic. Look for where others are catching and join in the fun. Heard some Reds in the shallows and a couple kings off the ends in PCB. Good luck.

One week and counting........... Get the fish primed for me, but don't catch too many. I'll need all the help I can get. I'm confused when I can't flip worms into brushpiles.
