Today was the opening day of Florida snapper season, and because I do not carry federal permits, I am able to fish over there. Right now spots within 7 miles of the pass are red hot! This is an awesome deal on a very good trip. Tom really enjoys what he does and you can tell. We went out with him last year in not so favorable conditions and he worked so hard to put us on fish and made a tough day on the water very enjoyable in the end. For the price it is very well worth it! Trying to find a chance myself to get down for another trip.

I'll still be running trips, but the snapper fishing will certainly harder. I am limited to fishing FL and AL state waters, so there aren't many spots within my range and they will be getting cleaned out. I try to set realistic expectations for all my trips so don't hesitate to ask.Quote:

I have given friends fish from off shore before(sword fish,wahoo) and this last trip nothing but spanish....they absolutely loved it and said hands down the best I have given so far....they fried and grilled it....I too love the spanish and target it all the time, looking to fill a cooler full of frozen fillets for the return home and shareQuote:
