John, I think the reels you're thinking of didn't have a name just numbers. The 747 and the 757. I am almost certain that they were made in Philly like the Spinfishers. They were made a grade below the SS with many 750 and 850 parts and some parts unique to them, such as the cast aluminum main gear as opposed to bronze in the SS reels.

Ya 747 and 757, same reel as the regular old spinfishers, exept w a black spool like on a black spool 706, 704, ext., I used to have a 747, but I blew the spool up on somthink big, never saw it but i think it was a big snapper :confused:
