    Pier Cart Tires $6.95 !

When I built my pier cart several years ago (PVC), I ordered Fish N Mate Jr. tires from the Fish N Mate company. It was the year before the new pier opened and I was mostly surf fishing so I wanted the plastic wheels so there wouldn't be anything to rust. If I remember correctly, I paid $35 (+ shipping) each. Well, today, I came across this company that has them for $6.95 + shipping! Granted the shipping is a little high, but winds up no where near $35. Anyone looking for tires needs to check out this company. Haven't seen the balloon tires there though. They have good prices on lots of other items as well. The item number for the Fish N Mate Jr. tires is 1-116259. Website shows they have hundreds of them in stock. www.surpluscenter.com

Thanks, I don't need replacement tires yet, but I do need to rotate them.

One thing I've learned (the hard way) is to oil the axle hub regularly, and EVERY time after the wheels get wet.
They dry out quickly and squeak like banshees runnin fer hell!

    Thanks, Tuck

I've ordered 2 to replace my balloon tires. Will report back as far as quality, etc..

People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.

If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.
