Flounder
Just wondering if it’s to late in the season to catch flounder from the surf? Caught a good pompano yesterday from surf and that was one of my goal fish on this trip. My other goal is to catch a flounder. Fishing out at fort Morgan.

Know how far out he’s gigging or is he in the bay? Just wondering if those little stinkers are staying just barely out of reach.

Not at all.
Summer into fall is usually the best time to target flounder in the surf.
Just keep in mind the minimum size and creel on flounder changes August 1steym_sirius and chillinfish like this.(RETIRED) mostly.
