Re: Alabama Saltwater Info - Licenses, Bag Limits, and General Info
Just a heads there is now a Non-Res Pier license available for $11 too in case you didn't know that. There is also a res. pier license available too.
Re: Alabama Saltwater Info - Licenses, Bag Limits, and General Info
All us old folks that don’t have to buy a license anymore still have to register on the Free Saltwater Angler Registration annually and print out a free license to be legal each year.

Re: Alabama Saltwater Info - Licenses, Bag Limits, and General Info
I am out of state. So do I need an Alabama saltwater license and a pier license or just a pier license?
Re: Alabama Saltwater Info - Licenses, Bag Limits, and General Info
Either, but not both.
A pier license is exclusive to fishing from the pier ONLY.
If you want to fish from the beach (or a private boat) you MUST have the Saltwater license.
I believe both are also offered to non-residents.
Hope this helps! :headbang:

Re: Alabama Saltwater Info - Licenses, Bag Limits, and General Info
I read somewhere on here that it was ok to carry (concealed) a firearm on the pier?
Re: Alabama Saltwater Info - Licenses, Bag Limits, and General Info
the NR pier license says for PUBLIC piers. would this be valid on the four seasons pier which is private?
