fishing is late March, early April
I am from Michigan, and I am bringing my family to gulf shores for spring break. We love to fish, and would appreciate any information we can get regarding the GSP fishing. Is there any fishing during our time period? I have a son that is 9, and a daughter that is 11. we would love to experience GSP while we are there.

Late March to early April can range from not much to on-fire. Depends on the weather this winter.
Sheepshead should still be biting, as will whiting and pompano in the surf.
Two or three years ago we wore out the ground mullet, white trout and big croakers in late March.
Depending on water temp, the Spanish macs should be biting too. If its really warm, a king or two might be seen.Carl
