If I come down to the pier in april, what should I gear up for? Will the spanish be here yet?

expect spanish,kings,cobia,and reds. go to j&m they will gear you up for the pier.

Honestly, I am not sure Tom. But your speculation has merit as recent rains would have brought an influx of nutrients into eastern LL and a subsequent increase in macroscopic life feeding on that...
Rain/Red minnows shortage this...
