Late September
What should I expect fishing the pier late September
Crowded? Fish biting? Bait? Or is it like Panama city beach piers

Late September is great! Not much crowd except weekends, Water is clear, starting to cool, and fish returning from the dog days. How active the kings are depends on water temps which varies every year, but, in general, by late September they are starting to turn on.
It is hurricane season, but that applies everywhere.People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.
