This week, IF the weather acts as forecast, a low will be approaching from an unusual direction. Tuesday and Wednesday the pressure will be dropping while the wind is from the west or northwest while on Thursday the wind will finally switch to the south but the pressure will be rising (IF the low moves west as forecast).
It will be interesting to see which, if either, of these situations the fish respond to.
I know I'll respond to staying right where I'm at
messing around in the cold basement, with jigs and maybe a few gaffs:D
We are scheduled for arrival on Saturday. I hope this don't ruin the fishing although from what I've seen it hasn't been all that to begin with.
I would advise anyone thinking of fishing late this week or the weekend to closely monitor the National Hurricane Center and National Weather Service for the latest forecasts and observations concerning this potential tropical system.
