Bay Fishing
I have been visiting the Gulf Shores area for years and walked the pier but have never fished it, we always go out fishing the rigs or bay fishing with a charter guide. Anyway, I have a 20' bass boat and was wondering if people use those type of boats in the bay? As in, is it safe to put a regular bass boat in those waters? As in like Wolf Bay and Old River.

I have a 17' Tracker and I fish the bays quite often. Ive also gone out in the gulf, but thats kind of off track. Just remember things can change quick, really quick. During the summer be very cautious of the afternoon thunderstorms. The bays will get worse off than the gulf at times due to the depth, itll make for a rough ride. Like anything, be cautious and aware of whats going on.
