i am friends, but something else is going on , I can't access any of my photos, think I might be being censored on fb

Figured part of my issues on fb....needed to clear some things keeping me from accessing functions on it....computer illiterate here but try

I learned that many years ago from JT at Bozos fish camp on Lay lake. Works great. I saw him remove a hook from a doctors hand one time. The doctor was at UAB In Birmingham and he said that was much better than how the doctors were taught.

I'm not FB friends with Tommy N., so I'm sure that's why I couldn't see the picture/story. This morning, "Dr. David" told me about that opportunity to use the string-yank technique. It comes in handy!

Don't try it if the hook is in the tip of your finger! My buddy tried to remove a treble hook from my finger during a bass tournament with this method, BUT, the hook didn't come out! Thought I would faint because it hurt so bad! Lots of nerve endings in your finger tips. Got one in my finger tip again at the pier a few years ago during a spanish chew down at daylight, Harley offered to snatch it out, but I went straight to the ER in Gulf shores, back on the pier fishing in 30 minutes! This method works great if the hook is anywhere besides a finger.

That may explain why it didn't work for me.

I sure wish my uncle had used that technique when removing a fish hook from the back of my neck when i was a 5 year old kid. He wasnt much of a finesse guy, more on the practical side. Just grabbed the pliers and pulled. Then iodine and a fishy towell on it til the bleeding stopped. Lol. It was a memorable occasion.
