Dropper rigs hook eyes to small
I was tying some dropper rigs and using Eagle Claw Kahle 6 and 4's and the eye is too small for the double line to go through. I ended up cutting the double line and just tying some but was wondering if any of you guys knew of any other brand that had bigger eyes. I really like the Kahle style and the Eagle Claw brand but I can switch, but I really don't want to go much bigger then 4's. I'm using 15 lb. flouro. Thanks Kirk

Mustad does carry a kahle-style hook they call the
"classic sport hook" http://www.mustad.no/americas/2012_c...0Hooks_SHf.pdf (page 86)
#37140-BR (bronze), but I don't know if the ring eye is any larger.
One trick I use to get my heavier mono thru the Eagle Claw kahle #6 hook eye is to take a short piece of braided line, double it, drop it through the eye, then pass the heavy mono through the loop at the end and pull it through the eye.
Hope this helps!
