Tide charts and vacation.
Does anybody else schedule vacations around tide charts and solunar tables? Asking for a friend.

I have sometimes, especially trying to catch anchovy runs at the Dixey Bar. Will be doing so in August and September.
People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

We always try to schedule our trips for the week with the greatest change between high and low tides. In general, we try to avoid neap tides, though honestly, fishing can be pretty decent during some neap tides.
