yep stock up, when the fish start biting good, they go fast there(J&M)....there was a shortage last fall when I was there....not by me..... but people going to J&M ....I make my own spear head jigs to bring when I can come
I lost a lot.... gave some away and brought a few back home....
I should also add.... Mine are NOT for sale....In no way do I want to step on anyone's business down there, but I have gave a few away and shared ....even to others in the tournament for kings and spanish ....my competitors
still trying to get better at the tying thing
and my preferred weight, is the 3/4 oz
on light tackle 1/2oz would be OK

Not sure if what you found is what your looking for. I googled it and what I found was a Looney lure. I was happy to see a story that Bryan Bennett posted on this forum "History Of The Looney Jig" pop on on the first page. Yes we sell them,$1.39 each or 10 for $12.50. If you want a 100,Terry(the person that makes them and also works with us at J&M) sells them for a $100.

As far as I know J & M is the only place that sells genuine Looney Jigs. And they are a bargain!
I never leave home without 'em

I could, but you aren't on my care package list ....sorry
on the pier, I do share with some others
you could start to make your own, like I did ....it isn't very hard....I needed something to do in my retirement years, to pass the time during the cold winter months..... although those were done during the HOT summer days, in the nice cool basement
needed to do something with the 800lbs of lead I got for free....20lbs a plate

No problem ironman. Might give it a try myself.
Good tip Tom! These two big fellas were screaming like girls when that happened to them last week... LOL
A Spadefish safety tip!
