CIT Designs Fishing Carts

I have one of those aluminum fishing carts that many of us use on the pier. I've had mine for 6 or 7 years. Now I need some parts for it; the front wheel/caster assembly to be specific. The front wheel/caster keeps falling out of the rubber housing that is located in the stem. Years ago, I had no trouble contacting them for parts but it seems that maybe the company (CTI Designs) is maybe owned by somebody else now. They don't respond to my emails or phone calls. Does anyone know how I can get parts for it. I could try to fix it myself but I would hate to get to the pier and find out my repairs didn't solve the problem. I would rather get OEM parts for it.

J&M has front replacement caster wheels....looks like the aluminum tube has spread allowing the wheel stud to fall out....try some 5 minute epoxy and maybe tapping the tubing to tighten it up on the plastic insert?
pick up an extra at J&M so you have a spare....
for me that front wheel is ALMOST as important as the others

Thanks, I'll call J&M. I live in Atlanta but I'm sure they would ship it. I've tried pulling one of those carts that doesn't have the front wheel. The front wheel makes it a lot easier to pull.

I went a different route then stock, better I believe (for me anyway)

I always have a spare on my trips, and hopefully could borrow enough tools from friends to make repairs if ever needed.....but believe mine will last, any voids in concrete or getting on the wash board decking that wheels is elevated off , till back on smooth surface

It was a type-o on my part. I actually called CPI several days ago before I posted this but got no response. No response to emails either

The plastic wheel just doesn't last. A much better and simple option:
Go to Harbor Freight and buy a 7", $7.00 pneumatic tire and then two u- bolts from hardware store. U- bolts will fit flat bracket holes on new castor wheel. Then just bolt it around frame of cart. Cheaper, simple, quieter and better than original. You wont be disappointed. Your welcome...

I see your in central N.C., where abouts? I used to live in Greensboro. I used to go fishing in Atlantic Beach/Morehead City before the demise of the fishing piers there.
