I have read the regulations in the top post, but I want to get clarification on fish and legal bait. For example, the regulations don't say anything about black drum, ghost crabs, grass porgies, etc. Does that mean black drum have no size or limit restrictions, or that crabs or porgies could be use for bait? In Tennessee, if it doesn't have a season or state the size or limit for a species, it's illegal.

I was somewhat confused by your question since it seemed to be compound in nature. For clarification, yes you can catch and keep black drum. Unlike Tennessee, anything not specifically listed with a size or creel limit, is legal to catch and keep or use for bait without limits.

Do you say that in regards to Alabama, or just GS and OB? I was of the impression that the statewide emergency ban that was issued a few years back was only temporary. In fact, I spoke with the district game warden over Baldwin Co. last year. He implied that as long as I wasn't on state property, or using chum, that he didn't care.Quote:

What about the unincorporated area of Ft. Morgan (with the obvious exception of public accesses), between GS and the actual fort property? I thought that this area was still ok.Quote:
