Dang at the stuff people come up with. This guy will probably make a fortune off of this concept. When I was seven years old I had a zebco 33 and an old Abu Garcia cardinal and thought it couldn't get any better. My how things have changed. LOL

Great idea...I doubt it will significantly improve line performance though...he assumes twist per cast is a constant but it varies based on loading...
Beyond that it relies on the operator to alternate motor behavior instead of repetition of the same action which is contrary to human nature...
And it relies on me remembering which side I cast from last time...yeah that's not what I want to think about when fishing...
I think they could probably automate the alternation mechanically so that the operator performed only one repetitive motion...but still doubt that performance improvement would be significant...
Anybody else notice loose line loops about half way into the video? I can make that happen without this invention!

Ain't no way I'm going to burden myself with trying to remember whether my last cast was to the right or left.
I drag my lines from my boat to get the twist out. What I would like is a way to control the twirl of a Clark Spoon to get the twist out that those generate. Yes, I always use a swivel, but there is only so much they do. Maybe i just need to learn how to tune my Clark Spoons.
