Pompano, sheepshead, and Mackerel at the jetty?
My fishing experiences relate more to trout, redfish, Jack's, and small snapper with artificials. I'm staying where I can fish the west side of the pass at the jetty (in about three weeks), and I'll probably be fishing first thing in the morning and at night. Any advice on locations or lures/baits would be appreciated.

Fiddler crabs would be the words.
Sheepsheads will be around the structure or just off of it be careful on the rocks, easy to fall.
Pompano should be around. I’ve caught them on the beach side off both jetties. Fresh dead shrimp, pink fish bites and sand fleas/ghost shrimp on a Carolina rig. Whiting should be around too. Maybe a reddish.Carl
