Staying in a condo this wkd and hope to do some surf fishing. My question is that if I actually get lucky and catch some fish worth eating, where can I go to filet them besides the sink in the condo lol... any public fish cleaning stations around?

You will most likely catch whiting and pompano. I just scale and gut them on the beach (leave heads on & cook whole). Just bury the guts.
If you fillet on the beach, you will need to carry the carcasses to the dumpster at the condo. triple bag them before going in.
You can access the pier's facilities for the walk-on fee.
Pomps, Whiting, Blues, Reds, sharks/rays.
Live or fresh shrimp is the bait of choice.
I can't find any creel or size limits on whiting. Does that mean there is none?

When I was down last year, I just cleaned them on the beach at night (when I did the most "catching") and made sure to bag everything well. I guess I was either very neat, or the birds and crabs took care of anything left on the beach, as we used the same spot for a week, including family beach activities. I deposited the remains in the nearest condo trash facilities just at the walkway leaving the sand. We had pretty good janitorial service. I never had any complaints and it seemed that everything was gone when I would go back out at daylight to hit it again.
I have considered going to the pier to use the facilities if I caught a large mess of fish. Given some of the comments on here about abuse of the facilities over the years, I have wondered if one more googan would be welcome just to clean fish.
I'm looking forward to the return trip. I booked my place for September last night. You guys helped a saltwater rookie catch over 20 species of fish on his first trip last year. I hope to up my game substantially this year.
Some friends stayed last week down toward the Fort and caught lots of flounder....sorry I can't be more specific. I have cleaned fish in condos too by being careful. I carry my own filet board, and in Florida have used a bathtub or two. Also carry bleach. :) And latex gloves are handy.
