Thread: Buoy 42012 appears to be back

Thanks to whoever got it done! Water temp is a flat line, I hope that changes.

Won't matter for me.....my trip dates are planned, might change it up a bit on targeted fish, convicts,pomps,& flounder might be looked at instead of spanish & kings.....but a lot can change in a few weeks

Do you know if the Farewell buoy temperature data is an actual measurement or a calculation?

EDIT: or for another question, why did this link give me a temperature plot a few minutes before, but now will not?

Yes, I do believe the sensors are on the actual buoy.

BTW, Jason Smith (local meteorologist) reported at our February fishing club meeting, there are plans to install another nearshore buoy off the West End of Dauphin Island soon...
