Great 9 days!
Want to thank everyone on the Pier for another great trip. Got to see lots of old friends and made a bunch of new ones.Thanks Haywire for the tip on dehooking spanish, wish I'd learned the " open wide " maneuver a long time ago !!! LOL. Bent rods and tight lines for all till next trip.EVERYONE take care!!

Honestly, I am not sure Tom. But your speculation has merit as recent rains would have brought an influx of nutrients into eastern LL and a subsequent increase in macroscopic life feeding on that...
Rain/Red minnows shortage this...
