I am planning on fishing the pier Mon, Tues and Weds this coming week. I have been following the weather and apparently there is a 70-100% chance of rain and thunderstorms all week. Anyone have any info on how this affects the bite on the pier? Which species should I target in the rain? I'm assuming this will create dirty water causing fish to be further offshore... Any info is greatly appreciated!!

Some times rain seems to turn on the bite. One of the best axe-handle spanish mac bites I ever got in on was on a rainy miserable day.
Doesnt always mean dirty water, takes some big swell to dirty up the water at the south end.
The shallows may get stirred up though.
All this said, rain is one thing. Thunderstorms are another story. If lightning is around, lines out of the water and head for cover.
