I met him in the parking lot.
He told he me had 260 ghost shrimp to sell to guides and bait shops and averages 300-400 a day.
And asked if I wanted to buy any...
That sounds like a commercial venture to me. LOL
When the state gets a whiff of that it's just a matter of time before gathering ghost shrimp is as regulated as anything else.
For years now anglers in Texas, and California have been limited to 50 per day.
The Gulf islands National Seashore had to do the same a couple of decades ago with commercial sandflea rapers (I mean rakers ;-)
