where are all the flounder this year. we were killin em this time last year...

Roy was sayin the same thing to me yesterday.
He & Harley were often catching double limits this time last year.
So far only a few have shown up occasionally and mostly in deeper water.(RETIRED) mostly.
Now part-time outdoor writer,

Honestly, I am not sure Tom. But your speculation has merit as recent rains would have brought an influx of nutrients into eastern LL and a subsequent increase in macroscopic life feeding on that...
Rain/Red minnows shortage this...
