Forum Member Banishment?

Hey guys,

I was just reading a thread and noticed, where it says your status, i.e., junior member, senior member, one person's said "banned". How does one post if they were banned? Just curious.....

I would guess the post were posted before they were banned and they were banned before you read the post. Not an administrator, but that would be my guess.

Seems logical.

There will be more of that if certain kids don't cool it!

Been there done that, for a short while anyways.......

Accounts are being banned due to the immature behavior of what appears to be one or two juveniles who think it is funny for the admins to monitor the recent high volume of bogus threads and bogus replies to legitimate threads.
Actually it is a matter of a couple clicks and POOF, the threads and replies are gone. Banning users is just as easy; click, click, POOF!
Way easier and less time consuming for us than it is for the trolls. The trolls have to create a new email account for every bogus forum account. That's a lot of trouble for no appreciable return for your time.

The sad thing is that this activity is during school hours on school computers. I am sure this activity will be a real to these kids in the future when they have to rely on what they learned in school.

There are two main public school IP addresses that allow access the forum from school and they can be blocked if necessary. It might be a good idea to let the trolls know that no one will be able to access the forum from school if this continues.

WHO EVER IS CREATING THE BOGUS ACCOUNTS STOP YOURE GOING TO RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE QUIT BEING JACKASSES AND CREATE A NORMAL ACOUNT AND USE IT FOR WHAT IT WAS MEANT FOR….:mad:

Yeah, I kinda thought that one yesterday about needing his lawn mower fixed so he could go fishing seemed.....fishy.

It would be a public service for the Admins to have the school access blocked . Being a former teacher I can't imagine an educational purpose to allowing access during the school day in the first place . Seems like a lack of accountability on the part of both student and school .

I just don't understand what kind of amusement these kids get out of this! Maybe if they got off the computers for awhile and actually went outside, hunting or fishing or whatever, they wouldn't be such annoying little shits! (excuse my language)

I banned one MS State student 7 times one night...but got every alias he had....:o..

Still collecting info on the perps, 10 accounts are involved so far and it appears to be only 6 people. Have email and IP addresses for all 10 accounts.
Have the IP addresses for area schools and working on list of other IP addresses that will be blocked.
Don't want to drop the hammer until all the info is right.

Fin chaser I know your mad and everything but one of my school laptops were used by southernfishin used my computer to make a couple accounts I just figured out today that he did and trolls that he did im sorry about that.And that it was off my computer he also made them with bogus emails do I don't want anything to do with it

Me to I'm grateful that you make this forum troll free I can tell you what you probobaly tepl you things you need to know to drop the hammer on them

i can promise you i have nothing to do with it for one it is coming from fairhope students not my school. i enjoy being able to get on the forum and despite what you all think i get on the forum in my free time during school. ( al my grades are good) :) LOL
