Hoosier coming to Gulf Shores in September

Hi everyone, Im from Indiana and will be down in Gulf Shores September 1-9 and need some help if available. I’ll be staying on the West end of Little Lagoon in a condo on the Gulf side of the Lagoon. I’ll be near what looks like a gated community at the end of W Beach BLVD/182.

Does anyone have any experience with the shore in this area or the lagoon? I plan on fishing both the shore and lagoon down on this end but was curious if anyone could help out a bit. I’m also gonna hit the pier a couple times while I’m there. Not many questions about the pier, tackle, bait, tides, troughs, sandbars, etc because most have already been answered while searching the forums.

The shore is ever-changing. Best thing to do is walk the area you can fish at low tide and find the deep spots and cuts where water flows away from the beach. Fish those, especially at daybreak for Specks.

The lagoon will have pretty warm water in early Sept, best at night under lights, if at all.

West Beach Blvd west of Little Lagoon Pass has no public access, so that's likely a no experience.
But September is usually a good time on the beach (barring an active tropical season).
Also, good plugging in the Lagoon for trout at first light and flounder most of the day.
