Hello Everyone,
I have been on the pier prior- but we are coming down from Feb 28th through March 3rd from Michigan. Just wondering what my son and I might be able to hook into- on the pier?
Any suggestions as to bait and where to get it- would be great!
One last thing too- do we simply need a non-resident "pier" license?

Fishing is still pretty slow, but warming up. The sheepshead are being caught on fiddler crabs and live shrimp, but not really going strong yet. Spanish mackerel are very spotty. Pompano and whiting are caught in the shallows but the bite is not hot. Steadiest bite is white trout on dead shrimp (a piece of fishbite also on the hook helps). As it warms all should get better.
J&M is your most dependable bait source. The pier had fiddlers today, but not always.
I don't know which kind of license you need, but you do need one.
Yes just pay the 9 dollar fee for Adults and you can fish for 24 hrs at the pier.
