It's good to here from you BDL, evidently you made it through the Winter. How much snow do you have up there? I talked to a couple on the head boat who were from just below the UP in Mich. and they said that they had about a 160", which is about ave.

If I don't get to meet Mr. Wire this trip, I leave early Friday, it will only make for a greater anticipation when I come down next year. It will be up to you to tell him some Muskie & Walleye stories.

Now y'all keep cool and quit talking about me. When people do that it makes me giggle and fart. My wife makes me leave the room when I start to giggle and neither one of the cats will sit in my lap---so y'all don't want to be responsible for something like that. You seem like good folks.

Don't y'all come back and tell me walleye stories. Bring some walleye fillets.

Actually we don't have a lot of snow up here flyguy, right now maybe a foot or foot and a half, but it's been real cold.

Hopefully this crap will pass by tomorrow but the forecast doesn't look to good. It is not suppose to be to bad above St. Louis. We are spending a day there with my youngest son and his family. Thank you for the blessing Tom, it all helps. I will let you guys know we we make it back. Thank you guys for all the help and acceptance into this wonderful Pierfishing forum.

Thank you very much Danny, it is hard doing a hand job when you have used a rod lathe for 40 years. You simple do not have enough hands, but it worked. Marion is really good to me, gives me all kinds of advice on color and what not but on wrapping, NO! We will definately stay in touch Danny, we were both teachers, and we love to fish. I believe a friendship has been created.

LOL! As much as I want to, I am not going to say ANYTHING about someone getting a hand job on his rod...nope not going there!
