Identification n cleaning

I apologize in advance for asking this question bc I know there's prob an article on it somewhere on this forum but I've looked almost a week now. My questions are there a site that shows you how to clean different fish in the gulf and what the fish look like I have one of those card things that show me the fish but last yr I caught some in bay n surf that I couldn't tell from that card identification chart. People are helpful when u are on the pier to show r help you in identification and cleaning( I always half my catch) but I wanted to read n study up bc I will be fishing surf and bays some but mostly pier when I'm down 22 - 26 of June this yr. thank you in advance

Youtube is a great resource on how to clean a variety of fish. As far as an identification chart, I would look over the forum and compile a list of fish regularly caught and then just Google each species.

Bay and surf fish you might encounter include:
Spotted Seatrout (speckled trout)
White or sand trout
whiting / ground mullet
redfish
black drum
croaker
pinfish
sheepshead
mangrove snapper
flounder
catfish (hardhead and gafftopsail)
lizardfish
sea robin
spanish mackeral
jack
pompano
ladyfish
There are many others, but these are what I catch most often.

I use the Fish Rules App. Home For a long time freshwater fisherman the saltwater stuff gets interesting and confusing all at the same time.

As a fellow freshwater fisherman who gets to salt water fish once a year if I'm lucky this is an auto get. Thanks for pointing it out!
