So I yakked up a tarpon today about 200yds off the end of the pier.
Went on the much anticipated Nantucket Sleighride for a good couple hundred yards and got him up to the kayak. Touched him to the kayak then popped him off. Got a few pup sharks to go with him before I run out of bait.

The real fun began for any onlookers when I rolled coming back to shore between the sand bar and the beach. It happens, just not infront of a lot of people usually.
Made a good reentry and paddled back to the beach a success having hooked and got a free ride from a tarpon.
