I thought It was a good topic I couldn't really find anything in the Forum. What's the best way to keep your bait sand fleas, fiddler crab, pinfish, squid, ghost shrimp, ECT. Also does any two live baits do okay together in the same container or Bait Bucket??.. thanks

Keep bait shrimp (fresh dead) IN the cooler, just take out a few pieces at a time.
It stays fresher longer and the birds (grackles) don't steal as much ;-)
Same with squid, though i rarely use it.
Sandfleas, fiddler crabs, hermit crabs and ghost shrimp can just be kept in a small bucket in the shade (no aeration required).
Fiddlers don't need anything, just damp sand for sandfleas, but ghost shrimp need a bit of water (change periodically as they tend to foul it after a few hours).
Keep bull minnows in a bucket with aerator, but I like to use 2 bubblers for shrimp and perhaps add some 'Shrimpsaver' during HOT weather.
That helps keep the nitrates, ammonia,etc. from the water.
Some people mix shrimp & bull minnows, but I don't.
I carry a separate flow pail on a rope for that.
