I always liked Ol' Blue Eyes version of Laura. Here's hoping next week's version acts like a lady.
The GFS has been showing Laura weakening and unable to regain much strength after getting clear in the Gulf. I sure hope it's right. If Laura shoots the gap between Cuba and Florida and does not weaken - all bets are off.

The latest run of the GFS shows Laura drifting west to Texas as a depression (or marginal Tropical storm) after coming within a couple of hundred miles of us. I hope that one is right, but I have a feeling that this storm may be one of those that you don't know about until it after does whatever it is going to do.
