I live in a Gulf state and do not support this proposal (81.29%)
I voted, but it was kind of scary---pictures of all those congresspeople, and they look just like actual human beings.
80% + residents oppose separation, 0% of politicians care what we think.
I voted. Will be interesting to follow what these politicians do based on the results of the poll.
Count me in I voted.Keep up the good fishing reports while i'm stuck here in Gardendale.
Done..............
Voted they could care less we can't give them the money
I voted nay!!
Done my part too.
Yep me too
Why does it not surprize me that only 14 people have responded to this thread. Lack of interest is the reason that politicians don't take us fishermen and hunters seriously. Until we respond to them in mass they will continue to ignore our concerns and just keep on putting restrictions on the things we enjoy doing. Wake up folks or it won't be long before the only hunting and fishing you"ll be doing will be with some kind of video game.
Done~ 81.58%...
I voted. Hope we make a difference.
Yeah - and this is a multi-dimensional issue that has to be worked from each angle!
1) Sportsmen need to have continued, even enhanced access to hunt and fish.
2) Game laws should be crafted and enforced with the recreational sportsman in mind.
3) Habitat development should be a priority, since effective laws and access to hunting and fishing grounds are meaningless if there's nothing to harvest.
I say that everyone should let politicians know that your support of them is conditional, the condition being that they take ACTION on behalf of the sportsman - action that is meaningful and substantial and measurable. This means that sportsmen must be willing (as I've said before) to tell the candidates, "We WILL go to the media with this issue for the purpose of taking political action as a voting bloc. You can decide now whether you want to be a part of us by taking action on our behalf - or take a public stand against us. But we will no longer tolerate a passive-aggressive response from our elected officials!"
Voted. 81.3% now.
