It's not too far past the Dollar General on Fort Morgan Road if your looking for Mobile Street.
Burgoyne St is 2000 ft east of the ferry dock. It is the last left before Fort Morgan Road crosses the hump over the low concrete wall that surrounds the fort grounds (about 70 feet short of that hump).
I don't know how to post from Goolge Maps. Edit: or Google Maps - either one.

Ah! Perfect! Thank you all. I have just moved to the area and have been wanting to find a place I could go to learn how to surf fish. You guys rock :D
Tried to fish the surf along Fort Morgan Rd the last three days Not like it was when I lived here three years ago Public access is very limited First day I was just scouting a little Went to Mobile St mid afternoon No way to fish there Parking lot full and overflowing Checked Veterans Rd They have totally eliminated parking there Checked No Name Road Burgoyne Street Some parking there Would be a little hike to the beach but may be worth it All in all access is limited but I knew what I had to do Next day I was at Mobile St before daylight Parking and beach to myself That was nice Watched the sun come up over the water Caught some large 2-2&1/2 lb blue fish Several ladyfish and a half dozen nice whiting Around 7am people started coming Not real bad I was ready to go around 9 anyway Bottom line is that Mobil St is fishable but get there early Next morning Mobile St again at daylight looking for pompano Walked the beach this time with a pompano jig and gulp ghost shrimp tipped with fishbite carolina rigged Limited out in an hour and threw 3 more back Was fun Wanted to check something else out this morning Headed to Fort Morgan State Park at 7:30 It opens at 8AM If you want to have a pristine relaxing surf fishing experience try this It's beautiful on the Bay side Got there just as they were opening the gate Veterans can enter this park for free Otherwise it's $5 Drive in and park by the big anchor on the right Just in front of that is a nice walkway with a short walk to the bay You can catch redfish and trout right at the end of that walkway I caught two rat reds there You can fish to to the right or left of the rocks there To your left about quarter mile is Fort Morgan Point Can be some excellent bull red fishing there and it's beautiful as well as flounder and pompano Fall fishing there can be amazing Stroll on around and you will find the other end of the gulf beach accessed by No Name road Good fishing for redfish flounder whiting etc all along there but it's a little stroll to get to Fishing at Fort Morgan Point is not going to be as congested as some of the other places so try it It's pleasant there Opened 8-5 and make sure you are out by 5 as you can be locked in Hope this helps open up some opportunities for some of you From what I see you are really going to have to plan summer surf fishing Fall should be better
It made us so mad when they fixed noname road and then blocked it from public access. We have been using that for our beach access for twenty years since we are on the bay side. Now you have to walk to far. Government for you.
Are there any pictures of the new parking area available?
