Thread: Night fishing at the pass

Anyone use lighted floats under the bridge at night? What bait are you using?

Perdido pass I’m guessing?? I’ve never used lighted floats , but have caught several reds and flounder from the wall at night. And the spade fish are all over that wall of you have a small hook and looking for fun. Just depends on what is running. I was using a pretty big live pinfish one day and never had a hit on it , or so I thought , kinda was tangled in the rocks but came free with the biggest flounder I’d ever caught!! Good place to fish. Not sure about the lighted floats though. Sorry. For reds I used cut bait and crushed crabs.

I've never used the lighted floats before. I figure I would carry a pair of rods, and use the float to drift a live bait.
