I had an Avenger 90, which worked great for two years, until it was stolen by a large toothy critter one night. I now have an 80, that I use to good effect putting a whooping on toothy critters.
I have an Avenger 55 that I use as an "all purpose" bait rig in the surf.
I also have a Trio S that I use for cranking artificials in the surf.
I enjoy my Okuma gear for the price. I don't use it but a few times a year and I do very thorough maintenance on it.
I find that their middle tier and up rods are great values as well. Just don't buy the Tundra line.
I keep considering buying more "pedigreed" gear (as I do with my freshwater stuff), but I haven't found a reason to yet.

I bought two Okuma FINA FI30's years ago when Okuma hit the marketplace. They are real workhorses. They are as smooth as the day I bought them with silky drags. I do maintain my gear so that has probably contributed to their longevity. A great value.
