OK, so I lived in Galveston and was on the pier every week, but, that was years ago. So, I have saltwater experience, but, it's been a while since I've accessed that part of my brain.
I have all kinds of lures and tackle and will be using light stuff. 7' rods with about 15# or 20# line, single strand leaders, heavy flurocarbon, etc.
So, I really only have two questions.
1- Do bubble rigs work that much better for spanish than popping corks? And, what lure should I trail behind it?
2- Has anyone tried an umbrella rig that is so popular in fresh water?
