I have not. The others seem too light to throw far enough on my 20lb baling wire mono. You would probably do better with lighter line and a better rod than what I use. I bought a spool of 20lb Power Pro braid and I'm gonna top it with some 12lb fluoro to see if I can get better casting distance with the smaller plugs. Bass pro makes a plug that is a dead ringer for the xrap sxr14 that is $9.99 each. Pier #'r probably knows which one I'm referring to.

Anyway, (I'm letting the cat outtadabag here) for the mid range sized plugs I actually prefer the H2O Express Suspending Crankbaits from Academy...

I've been getting new xraps and standard rapalas for 2.00.....the xraps are deep divers like 4in, and the regular husky jerks are j11-j12's ....hope they catch something this trip when the lures are hitting better then live bait, I'll at least have one rigged for a school of something swimming by to throw quick.
that H2O express looks good, especially the priceBill..............
Good tip Tom! These two big fellas were screaming like girls when that happened to them last week... LOL
A Spadefish safety tip!
