Penn Battle II / Penn Spinfisher
Does anyone know why the Battle II 6000 reel holds 230 yds. of mono and the Spinfisher 6500 only holds 210 yds. of mono?
In my ignorance, it seems that the larger reel should hold more line.

I'm sure the gearing could impact line capacity, but again, just a guess.

Different size & shape of the spools.

Different spool - Battle 2 is a slightly newer design. I've got 3 of them - 1000, 2500, and 4000. Never had one issue with any of them. One of the best values right around $100.

Great condition Fish-n-Mate "Junior" Fishing Cart. Light weight all aluminum with 5 rod holders and bait table/basket. Make hauling all you gear easier. Was $265+$26.50 tax but, get this one for...
