A friend of mine just bought a nice used pier cart and the valve stems on the tires are dry rotted, so they can't be aired up. Can the stems be replaced and if not, where can he purchase new tires for it?
Thanks,
David

I saw sets of tires and wheels at Gulf Breeze bait and tackle in Pcola the other day when I passed through. I didn't look at the price. J&M may have them, I don't know. I saw some online the other day...wide, smooth tread design....but two of them would have almost cost as much as I paid for my cart. Just going from how mine feels when they air up, I think they have a tube in them.
They should be replacable.
Best bet is to pull one to match the size and get a new set.
$5 @ Sears ;-)

Hope this helps!
My tires on my cart still air up but the inside of the plastic wheels are worn out causing a bad wobble when its pulled.
take the wheels to a tire shop and get them replaced or see if you can put tubes in em
Go to gsi on the beach express they can help you.

What size axle? You may be able to put in new bushings or even add bearings. Do you run it over sand or just on a pier?
Not sure on the axle size....I mostly use it in the sand.
