Pushing Your Cart
With previous posts in mind about folks getting hooked by other folks, how do you push your cart the length of the pier with rods sticking 8-10 feet in the air? Is there a preferred defensive strategy? It does not sound like you can count on the casters to pay attention.

Get there early!
Actually, my cart is a handtruck, so when I pull it, the rods are sticking almost level with the ground, in from the me. So I am not worried about the rods as much as I am worried about me.

Getting there early would be my preference, too. If I don't get there early, is it a better idea to not have those rods sticking up? I am just going by the photos I've seen posted. Assumed everyone pushed their carts around with the rods in the air, but maybe not.

Just kidding; just watch out the ones that draw back to the deck when they windup to cast!

That is one impressive filet knife!

Most people are pulling their carts and can guide them between the mess like myself.
