Tomorrow is the DAY!
For the last 6 months I have spent my free time (and scrounged money's) retooling my arsenal, reading and studying EVERY post on this forum - and counting down the days till we could return to our favorite place on earth.
Bless you all for each and every post, report and photo that keeps all of us foreigners passified until the opportunity affords us a few more days casting lines in the much revered waters of Alabama's golden coast.
Lord willing, we will be dragging in flounder and trout tomorrow night. We would appreciate a prayer of safe passage - and while you have the Big Guy on the line, ask for protection from all hose folks on the east coast this weekend.Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.

Be safe on your trip, have fun, and don't catch 'em all.

Have a safe trip. I'll be back Friday for my second go around, had to return to KY for a week. Began filling my freezer with flounder, want to finish the job. I'm fishing from my Hobie.

Got down a little after dark yesterday, unpacked grabbed a Sammich and headed to the dock. I sent the next few hours taking off big croakers and white trout from the wife's rod - I did manage to have one decent trout hook himself while I was cutting bait.
Surf this morning was beautiful, but retired early for breakfast with only 2 bites on a pomp jig.
see y'all on the pier this afternoon.Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.
