Redfish Spawning Behavior
This video is about Tampa Bay redfish, but I added one of my first YouTube videos I ever made to it. It is from when I still lived in Foley and fished the pier regularly. You can see people all hooked up on a school of big reds that swam by the pier. I also mentioned the pier itself.

Honestly, I am not sure Tom. But your speculation has merit as recent rains would have brought an influx of nutrients into eastern LL and a subsequent increase in macroscopic life feeding on that...
Rain/Red minnows shortage this...
