Regrettably, I am in the latter class - Started the pre-early count down to our fall trip today. I was tired of sweating and watching the grass and garden die so I opened up the reel bag and set to work cleaning and repairing my flea bay haul from the last few months. New bail springs and drag washers for all - and copious amounts of new Penn grease and oil.

Same here; October is almost on us. Gotta get one of those diaper things, I'm still using newspapers on the dining table. ( Cause the light is better in here, Sweetheart).
Lol Bo' that is a puppy training Pee Pad. They work really well and are fairly cheap. Cheaper than a mad hen with a greasy counter top any way!
That helps make the trips last longer....the prep work, an clean up once back home.....still not sure about my fall trip....my bride is still messing with her parents affairs.....may have to come without, but not for the whole month without her
